Resort Policies & Procedures – Cabins and Nature Pods

Check-In

  • Check-in for Cabins and Nature Pods: 4:00pm or after.
  • For check-in after 5:00pm, an arrangement MUST be made with Resort Management. Failure to do so could lead to an automatic cancellation and may attract a corresponding fee.

Check-Out

  • Check-out time: 11:00am.
  • Any check-out after the required time without any prior agreement will be charged a $50.00 LATE CHECK-OUT FEE. Any guest checking out after 2pm will automatically be charged the full nightly rate.

Front Office Hours

  • Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 6:00pm
  • Friday and Saturday 8:00am – 8:00pm
  • Sunday 8:00am – 5:00pm
    Please note that our Club Room will be available at these same hours.

After-Hours Support

Call 888-412-7555 to be transferred to our after-hours team after the office closes.

General Guest Guidelines

  • Children under 14 must be supervised by someone 18 or older in all common areas.
  • No lifeguard on duty – swim at your own risk.
  • Swimwear must be appropriate; no glass containers in pool areas.
  • Bikes/scooters only on asphalt. Helmets required. No skateboards, rollerblades, or sidewalk riding. Park bikes at Club Haus rack.
  • No excessive alcohol, public intoxication, profanity, or illegal drug use.
  • Driving under the influence of any substance is prohibited.
  • Resort reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests for policy violations.

Wildlife

  • Observe wildlife from a distance. Do not follow close to them or approach them.
  • Do not touch wildlife under any circumstances.
  • Never feed the animals. Feeding wildlife can endanger their health, alter natural behaviors, can habituate them to humans and can expose them to predators and other dangers.
  • Protect wildlife and your food by storing rations and trash securely.
  • Avoid wildlife encounters during sensitive times: mating, nesting, raising young, or winter.
  • Control your dogs at all times.

Roads & Speed Limit

  • All guests operating a vehicle on Resort property must possess a valid driver license.
  • The speed limit in the Resort is 10mph. Please observe our speed limit to ensure the safety of all our guests and wildlife.
  • Violators of this speed limit will be warned, once. If the speed limit is still not observed after a warning, guests will be asked to leave the resort.
  • The Resort operates a one-way road system in a large portion of the Resort. Please follow the arrows and signs along the roads.
  • Cars and trucks are to drive only on asphalt services – save for those parking at an RV site.

Pool and Sports Facilities

  • Weather permitting the pools, spa, and sports courts will be open from 8:00am to 10:00pm.
  • Sports equipment is available to sign out at the Front Desk. If you intend to play in the evening, please ensure that you have collected equipment during the posted hours for the Front Desk and return equipment first thing the next morning after the office has opened.
  • Fees will be imposed for any equipment not returned or damaged.

Quiet Time

  • Sunday through Thursday: 10:00pm to 7:00am
  • Friday and Saturday: 10:00pm to 7:00am
  • No loud music or excessive noise is allowed during this period. Running vehicles or generators are not allowed, except on an emergency basis.

Safety After Dark

  • To ensure safety after dark, please carry a flashlight. No bike or scooter riding after dark.

Dumpsters

  • Place all garbage in bags and then in our designated garbage cans located throughout the resort. They are shown on the site map provided to you.
  • Please break down all boxes as it helps prevent the overflow of garbage. No bulky/large items should be placed in the garbage cans.

Campfires

  • Campfires are NOT permitted at SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort.
  • There are firepits available but there can be frequent BURN BANS or RED FLAG WARNING placed in this area by the State or County. If there are Burn Bans or Red Flag Warnings in place. The Front Desk will have notices posted on the property and will send out emails to guests. These are also posted on the Internet, and you will see road signs also to this effect. In these situations, ONLY propane grills are allowed and only if they are actively attended.
  • There are to be no open, wood, or charcoal fires whatsoever during Burn Bans or Red Flag Warnings.
  • Again, all grills and firepits (when permitted) must not be left unattended.

Picnic Tables

  • Do not move picnic tables or patio chairs from one designated site to another.
  • If your site does not have a picnic table, and you desire one, please contact the Front Desk.

Clotheslines

  • Clotheslines are not permitted anywhere in the Resort.

Fireworks, Firearms & Weapons

  • Fireworks are strictly prohibited on Resort property.
  • Those licensed to carry a firearm are allowed to have handguns on the property as long as they are stored safe and correctly in vehicles or RVs.
  • BB, Airsoft, and pellet guns ARE NOT PERMITTED.
  • There is to be NO HUNTING or FISHING on the property.

Guests Visitors

  • Visitors meeting registered guests of the resort are welcome at SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort, provided they register upon arrival at our Front Desk.
  • Overnight visitors must be registered at the time of the original reservation and the total number must adhere to our maximum occupancy restrictions. Additional guest fees may apply.
  • Registered guests and their visitors are expected to read and adhere to all Resort guidelines.
  • If your visitors are using the common facilities of the Resort, you will be charged a daily visitor’s fee.

Lost and Found

  • If you are missing an item that was maybe left in the restroom, shower, laundry room, at site, or around the landscape please check with our front desk team for assistance.

Pet Policy

While we are a dog-friendly resort, we kindly ask you to be a responsible pet owner and adhere to the following rules:

  • No more than 2 dogs per RV site. Should the number of dogs per RV site exceed 2, then an additional fee of $25.00 per night will be charged upon check-in.
  • All dogs must be leashed and under owners’ supervision/control while outside. Please follow common courtesies with pet ownership around other guests.
  • RV guests are asked not to leave their dogs unattended in their rig.
  • All guests are expected to pick up after their furry companion(s).
  • Pets are not allowed in common buildings or swimming pool areas unless they are a service animal. Service animals must be vested while working and are prohibited from entering the pool enclosure.
  • Please keep dogs out of the ponds.

All Owners must sign and acknowledge the Resort Pet Policy upon check-in, accepting liability for their pet as you will be responsible for any damages, injuries, and fees that are incurred during their stay.

Rules and Regulations

  • SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort reserves the right to make changes to our rules and regulations. We desire to make your stay with us pleasant, fun, and safe. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding our rules and regulations, we are happy to discuss them with you.

Liability

  • SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort is not responsible or liable for any bodily injury or loss due to fire, theft, wind, flood, earthquake, theft, Acts of God, vandalism or for any actions of any guests. Guests will be held responsible and financially liable for any damage to resort property which they may cause. Guests are required to have current and up-to-date registration and insurance for physical damage and liability insurance for their vehicles.

General

  • It is your responsibility to notify all members of your party of SKYE Texas Hill Country Resort policies. By signing this form, or by signing our contactless digital check in form, you agree to the policies, charges, payment and understand that failure to respect our policies may result in immediate removal from the property with no refund.
