Wine Tasting
This isn’t a quick pour or an ordinary wine tasting. It’s a relaxed, convivial experience that can last 60 to 90 minutes. We guide you through each wine, sharing the stories behind the grape varieties, our vineyard, and the winemaking process. A selection of charcuterie and fine cheeses accompanies the tasting, adding to an experience quite unlike the typical wine tasting you’ll find in Fredericksburg.
Complimentary When You Book Direct
- Stay in a cabin or Nature Pod booked direct with us, and your tasting is complimentary.
- RV guests who book direct can join for $35.
- Booked through another site? You’re welcome to join for a fee. Please call our front desk to make the necessary arrangements.
To preserve the intimate and convivial atmosphere of our wine tastings, seating is limited and reservations are first come, first served. Once all available places have been reserved, we will be unable to accommodate additional guests. Sign-up is now open [how to reserve: front desk phone / on property]. Cancellations within 48 hours of the tasting carry a 50% fee.

December Holiday Stay
Fredericksburg is full of lights in December! Main Street lights up for the Light the Night Christmas Parade on the first Friday of December. Marktplatz glows every night with the community tree and the German Christmas Pyramid, through early January. Take it all in, then head back to the quiet of the Hill Country a short drive from town, with no Main Street traffic, no parking hunt, and wine from our own vineyard waiting.
