Resort Policies & Procedures for RV Guests

Check-In

Check-in time for RVs is 2:00pm or after. For check-in after 5:00pm, arrangements must be made with Resort Management. Failure to do so could lead to automatic cancellation and fees.

Check-Out

Check-out time is 11:00am. Late check-outs without prior arrangement will incur a $50.00 fee. After 2pm, full nightly rate applies.

Front Office Hours

Mon–Thu: 8:00am–6:00pm
Fri–Sat: 8:00am–8:00pm
Sun: 8:00am–5:00pm

Club Room is available during these hours.

After-Hours Support

Call 888-412-7555 for after-hours support.

Forms of Payments

Reservation must be paid in full before or upon arrival. Credit or debit cards only.

Deposits

50% deposit required at booking. Monthly RV stays include a $100/month electricity fee. Holidays require full prepayment.

Holidays

Christmas (Dec 23–Jan 3), Spring Break, Easter Weekend, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Oktoberfest, Thanksgiving (Nov 25–29).

Cancellations

  • Email cancellations to rm@skyetexashillcountry.com
  • 8+ days prior: Full refund minus $20 fee
  • Within 7 days: Refund minus one-night fee
  • No refunds for weather, early departure, holidays/events
  • Credits must be used within 1 year

General Resort Guidelines

  • Children under 14 must be supervised
  • No lifeguard – swim at your own risk
  • No glass in pool area
  • Bikes/scooters on asphalt only; helmets required
  • No public drunkenness, profanity, or drug use
  • DUI of any vehicle = removal without refund

Wildlife

  • Do not approach or feed animals
  • Secure trash and food
  • Control dogs at all times

Roads & Speed Limit

  • Valid license required
  • Speed limit is 10mph
  • Follow one-way system

Pool and Sports Facilities

Open 8:00am–10:00pm. Equipment must be checked out at the Front Desk. Return next morning if borrowed for evening use.

Quiet Time

Daily: 10:00pm–7:00am. No loud music, running engines, or generators unless emergency.

Safety After Dark

Use a flashlight. No riding bikes/scooters after dark.

Dumpsters

Bag trash, break down boxes, no bulky items in cans.

Campfires

Campfires not permitted. Firepits available if no burn bans. Only attended propane grills allowed during bans.

Picnic Tables

Do not move furniture. Request a table from the front desk if your site lacks one.

Clotheslines

Not permitted anywhere on property.

Fireworks, Firearms & Weapons

  • No fireworks
  • Licensed handguns okay if stored properly
  • No BB/Airsoft/pellet guns
  • No hunting or fishing

Guest Visitors

Visitors must register at Front Desk. Use of facilities incurs a daily fee.

Lost and Found

Contact Front Desk for lost items.

Pet Policy

  • Max 2 dogs per RV. Additional $25/night per extra dog
  • Dogs must be leashed and supervised
  • No pets in buildings/pools (except service animals)
  • Pick up after pets
  • Keep dogs out of ponds

Septic System

  • No sanitary products or wipes
  • Use hoses that are sealed and secured

General RV Guidelines

  • Only patio/yard furniture outside RV
  • Older RVs (7+ years) must be pre-approved
  • No tents, pop-ups, window A/Cs, sleeping outside
  • Trailers require approval
  • No RV washing

RV Add-Ons to Rig/Site

No decks, steps, carpets on grass, etc.

RV Site Occupancy

  • Max 6 people per site
  • 1 RV and up to 2 vehicles per site
  • Extra vehicles go to overflow

RV Site Clean Up Fee

$100 fee for trash, grease, or untidy site.

Rules and Regulations

SKYE reserves the right to update policies. Non-compliance may result in removal without refund.

Liability

SKYE is not liable for injury, loss, or damage due to natural causes or guest behavior. Insurance is required.

General

All guests agree to policies upon check-in. Violations may result in removal with no refund.
